There is something for everyone during this fun filled weekend hosted by the New Salem Civic Club.

Park your car at the Morton County Fair Grounds and ride the bus up to the Cow to enjoy breakfast with the most beautiful view of our wonderful state.

Next join us for the parade down Main Street where we celebrate young and old with everything from horses-tractors-annually themed floats!  The parade starts at 10:30 am.

Throughout the day there are bed races, cow chip throwing, live street music, food vendors, duck races, bouncing houses and the famous Cow Bingo.  And dont forget the annual craft fair from 10am-4pm inside the auditrorium

Have a great dinner sponsored by the NS Betterment Committee and The Lions Club from 4-7 pm.  The Pitchfork Steak Fondue is always a great dinner to enjoy with new and old friends.

Saturday Night is kicked off with the Street Dance with a live band.  Dont miss this-everyone takes in the night air and dances the night away.  8:30-12:32pm

Sunday you can attend the annual demolition derby at the Morton County Fairgrounds.  People come from all over the state to compete for the grand prize.  1pm

Santa Days

The New Salem Santa Days, sponsored by the Lions Club and NS local businesses is the perfect way to start the holidays!

Join us at the New Salem Auditorium for silent auctions, homemade baked goods, craft vendors and a great lunch.  During the day there are games set up for the children and the adults can enjoy  great cup of coffee with a friend.  Dont forget to sign up for the turkey giveaway!

And last but not least.......Santa arrives.  Take your children to sit on santa's lap, tell him if they've been naughty or nice and get a treat bag.
